※ Students are asked to show their student IDs. People aged 65 or over are asked to show ID/document that proves their age.
Please purchase admission tickets at the ticket counter on the 1st or 3rd floors.
※ The 3rd floor ticket counter is open until 5 pm. To purchase tickets after 5 pm on late opening days, please use the 1st floor general information and ticket counter.
Volunteer Guides for the Permanent Exhibition
Volunteers give free tours of the permanent exhibition areas. Tours of the permanent exhibition areas are offered in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
※ Tours in some languages are unavailable on certain days.
If interested in a tour, please request at the 6th floor Voluntary Guide counter. (lasts approx. 1.5 to 2 hours)【Reservations accepted from 10:00 - 15:00】
Audio Guide of the Permanent Exhibition
Visitors can listen to an explanation of the permanent exhibition using a headphone receiver. A refundable deposit will be required. (Audio guides are available in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean.)
※ Audio guides may be rented at Audio guide Circulation Counter on the 6th floor in Permanent Exhibition Area.
Wheelchairs may be rented free of charge on the 1st and 6th floors.
Baby Strollers may be rented free of charge on the 1st and 6th floors.
Diaper Changing Tables
Diaper changing tables are found inside the women’s restrooms on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th floors.
Nursing rooms are on the 1st and 5th floors. Baby beds are also available.
Coin lockers are on the 1st and 7th floors. The 100-yen coin needed to utilize the locker will be refunded after utilizing the locker.
