The Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum (hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”) shares information through the following accounts.

1. Purpose
Through X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube (hereinafter referred to as "social media platforms"), we aim to provide timely information to help you understand the Museum's initiatives and activities, while also enhancing user convenience.
2. Content posted
We provide information on the Museum's exhibitions and other programs.
Updated date
As a general rule, updates are made Monday through Friday.
4. "Follow"
As a general rule, we do not follow other accounts (except for accounts closely related to the Museum's projects, such as special exhibitions and regional collaborations).
5. "Retweet" "Share" "Like"
We may repost, share, or like content from other accounts when it benefits the Museum's public relations efforts.
6. Reply
As a general rule, we will not respond to any opinions or questions.
If you have any questions, please contact us using the "Contact" form on our official website.
7. Suspension or deletion
If it becomes difficult to provide information via social media platforms, the account shall be promptly suspended or deleted.
8. Copyright
Unless otherwise specified, the text, images, illustrations, and video content published from our account are copyrighted by the Museum or the legitimate rights holders, and their use is governed by Copyright Act of Japan.
Except for personal use, quotation, or other purposes permitted by law, any reproduction, distribution, or display of all or part of the content shared by our account in magazines, books, CD-ROMs, web pages, or other media without the permission of the Museum is strictly prohibited.
You can follow our accounts and like posts on social media platforms, share on Facebook, or repost on X and Instagram using their respective sharing features.
9. Disclaimer
The Museum assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any other accounts bearing the same name as ours. Furthermore, the Museum is not responsible for any statements made by impersonators within our account.
10. Prohibitions
We may delete all or part of comments or posts, or block accounts, without prior notice to the poster, for content unrelated to the Museum's communications or that violates the following prohibited items.
- Those that violate laws and regulations, or pose a risk of violating them
- Those that defame or slander specific individuals, organizations, etc.
- Those intended for political or religious activities
- Those that infringe upon copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, or other intellectual property rights held by the Edo-Tokyo Museum or third parties
- Those intended for advertising, promotion, solicitation, sales activities, or other profit-making purposes
- Those that discriminate against or promote discrimination based on race, ideology, creed, etc.
- Those that violate public order or good morals
- Those that are false or inconsistent with the facts
- Those that infringe upon privacy, such as publishing personal information without the individual's consent
- Those that use or provide harmful programs, or those that pose a risk of doing so.
- Those that intend to link to websites containing the content described in (1) through (10) above
- Those deemed inappropriate by the Museum in addition to the above

This policy may be changed as necessary, and in such cases we will notify you via our website or other means.
